248 Reno - Exterior Upgrade
This project repositions the existing 248 Truckee building through a comprehensive exterior upgrade, focused on elevating both performance and visual identity.
Working within the constraints of an existing structure, the design introduces a refined material strategy and updated facade system. New windows, storefront systems, and metal panel elements are integrated with a cohesive paint palette to create a more unified and contemporary expression.
The scope prioritizes clarity and consistency across the building envelope. Outdated elements are removed, key architectural features are enhanced, and all exterior components are brought into alignment with current standards. Improvements to railings, entries, and shared spaces ensure the building performs both functionally and visually at a higher level.
Interior updates to lobby and common areas complement the exterior transformation, creating a more cohesive experience from arrival through circulation spaces. The result is a strategic upgrade that extends the life of the building while redefining its presence within the surrounding context.
